Stanley P. Gold
Founder & ChairmanMr. Gold is highly regarded in the Israeli community as one of the first foreign investors who committed to local business growth and development. Together with Mr. Geiger and Dr. Ovadia, he has been personally involved in Shamrock’s activities in Israel for over 20 years. Mr. Gold has taken an active role in key investments and currently serves as the Shamrock Israel Growth Fund Chairman heading the investment committee.
As the President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Shamrock Holdings, Mr. Gold has led investments of over $2 billion in a wide variety of industries. He served in leadership roles at various Shamrock Israel portfolio companies including Chairman of Koor Industries and Chairman of Tadiran Communications. .
Mr. Gold was a Director of The Walt Disney Company, where he was actively involved in reshaping the strategic direction. Previously, he was a Managing Partner of Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown, Inc., a prominent Los Angeles law firm.
Mr. Gold is highly involved in public affairs and is the Chairman Emeritus of the Jewish Federation of LA, Hebrew Union College and the Board of Trustees of USC. He holds a degree in political science from the University of California, a J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School and did his postgraduate work at Cambridge University in England.
