Michael M. Geiger
Co-Founder & Managing DirectorMr. Geiger has over 35 years of international investment experience operating in Israel and abroad. Together with Mr. Gold, he initiated Shamrock’s Israeli operation.
Mr. Geiger co-leads Shamrock Israel Growth Fund operations and investment activities ranging from generating deal flow to creating value in the portfolio companies. He serves on the board of directors of several portfolio companies including Polymer Logistics, SkyVision, Ahava and Teva Naot.
Mr. Geiger has served on the boards of many of the companies in which Shamrock has invested in Israel including Tel-Ad Jerusalem Studios, Matav Cable Systems, Dor Energy & Dor Gas, Koor Industries, Tadiran Communications, Pelephone Communications and Netia Holdings.
Since his role as Israeli Trade Commissioner for the US west coast, Mr. Geiger has developed activities between Israeli and international businesses. He facilitated the introduction of Israeli companies and innovations to emerging markets such as Brazil, Colombia and Eastern Europe, as well as developed markets. Mr. Geiger was instrumental in bringing global leaders like Dr. Armand Hammer of Occidental Petroleum and Newton Baker to invest in Israel.
Mr. Geiger serves on the board of governors of the Tel-Aviv University and Israel Opera. He is a graduate of Tel-Aviv University and the University of California Los Angeles.
